I'm not going to do a TLDR because I feel like this should be ready in its entirety to understand the impact this event had on me.

So, a Corgi has always been my dream dog. I love their little butts, the way they weeble wabble around, their unique personalities, and much more.

I'll explain in the body text below

Well, Corgis have been well out of my Wife and I's budget. Not to mention my Wife, if she gets pets, they have to be shelter rescues. Obviously breeders are kind of unethical breeding other breeds that have so many health problems and selling them for thousands. That pretty much dashed my dreams like waves upon rocky outcroppings (I have been known to be poetic (s ).

I eventually was ok that I'd never own a Corgi. Fast forward, like, a decade and my Wife decides to try a new tattoo shop to have some of her older tats touched up. She went there a few times and then one day, a friend of one of the artists comes in striking up a conversation. Obviously my Wife is just sitting there and can't help but hear what they're talking about.

The guy turns out to be a Breeder, of what breed you ask? Corgis! It was an oopsie litter. He and his Wife had been moving so I understand how it happened as an accident. I would assume Winter is not a time to breed dogs.

So he turns to my Wife and says, "Do you want a Corgi?" My Wife says, "F yeah!" She asks how much and he says free She comes home and tells me the story. I was beyond cloud nine! I assume I looked like a kid on Christmas Day.

Weeks go by and it's agonizing. Obviously they needed to be 12 Weeks or older to appropriately adopt. We were allowed to go over to his house pick one and play with it a little bit. There was a Cardigan that was super spunky and talked a lot, exactly what I like in an animal.

Eventually the time comes to pick her up, the drive home was smooth sailing and I hugged her all the way home lol I was a new Puppy Dad, don't judge me! It's been around a month now of owning her and she's amazing! Even spunkier now and talks up the ying yang!

We had another Dog already, a true to life Mutt if there ever was one. We did rescue her from a shelter, her name is coffee. She's medium sized. She was skeptical at first but has warmed up to now and they play fight nonstop. I'm really surprised since Coffee is three times her size, Mira holds her own!

So, I'm sure at this point why I named her Miracle (Mira). Kind of lame but there was NO WAY I was going to own a Corgi other than a Miracle G

Hamiltoncorgi • 11h ago Why doesn't that cardigan corgi have a tale? Cardigan corgis breed standard have tales. A lot of Pembrokes are born with tales but they get cropped. Cardigan Corgis have tales that are not cropped.
